Website Research- Marc Adamus & Ansel Adams

This website research will assist me in understanding how to create my own website so I will consider the overall design, colours, and typography, navigation, usability/user-friendliness, links and mobile view.

I will begin with Mark Adamus's website. I will start with the home page design, the home page here is very interesting and clear for the viewers; the grid format with landscape header has the artist's name, and it states what Mark Adamus specialised in (Unforgettable Wilderness Photography) it contains navigation bar

I can clearly navigate through all the websites, and it is user-friendly, and I was only using the website for the first time.

When I click on the boxes in the navigation bar  they all work and meet my expectations

I will start from the left side of the navigation bar:

- First, we have a home box at the navigation bar, which I already covered early

- Second, we have Image Galleries which they all organised into categories and well-presented

- Third is Photo Tours - Mark Adamus explain the expedition to remote and difficult-to-reach places and also explains how you could reach these places with the help of Mark A.

- Four is the services Mark Adamus offers to the public and again is very well presented and i enjoy reading it

Five is Awards and Publications, stating marks award and Publications. I think it lacks something interesting, like maybe the best picture of Mark A. he ever made  , as at the minute it does not contain pictures

-Six is the Bio/Artist statement which is very interesting and easy to read

-Seven is News is well-updated and interesting

-Eight is a  standard contact box well made and presented

Ansel Adams is my second choice as a photographer's website to compare
